I must say I loved this car when I rented it but that’s because my comparison is my 2000 Civic VP, so the sentra, even in rental car trim seemed like a luxurious sports car.

I forgot to mention my previous car was a 92 Sentra – 400 miles to the tank – I miss it but I’d to survive a crash. That being said, after driving the new sentra, when i came back to my old civic, I felt exposed since all new cars are built with safety standards that make u feel like you’re driving in a bathtub.

I recently purchased a used 2013 Sentra SR (35+k miles) from a dealership and I’ve noticed vibrations only while idling in Drive. The line you wrote, “causing vibrations at idle and underway that are noticed in things like rapid vibration of the unused passenger-seat belt buckle.”, perfectly describes my situation. Would I just assume this is normal operation in my case or should I be worried about problems down the line, like a bad motor/transmission mount?
